Maj. Gen. Catherine S. Lutz received her second star and was promoted to commander of the Mississippi Air National Guard on December 4, 2011. The new Assistant Adjutant General - Air, has approximately 31 years of service in the military. Maj. Gen. Lutz is the first female general officer in the history of the Mississippi National Guard.
