Master Sgt. Hagan Receives Unit Safety Award
U. S. Air Force Master Sgt. Nathan Hagan, assigned to the 186th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, receives the Unit Safety Award from Col. Edward Evans, the commander of the 186th Air Refueling Wing (ARW), at Key Field Air National Guard Base, Meridian, Miss., Aug. 12, 2017. Hagan was nominated for this award for his actions on July 16, 2016, when he noticed a developing hydraulic leak during a launch procedure for a U. S Air Force KC-135R Stratotanker aircraft. His dedication to assuring the proper operation and safety of an Air Force asset prevented multiple system failures and assured the safety of the aircrew and passengers. (U. S.
